You could take a degree and then further professional training through a graduate scheme, to qualify.
You'll usually need a good pass at degree level as this option is very competitive. The following subjects are useful, although not essential:
- accounting and finance
- business and management
Many business and finance companies offer work experience or internship opportunities to students in their second or last but one year at university. Doing an internship can improve your chances of success in getting on to a graduate scheme.
You'll usually need:
- 2 to 3 A levels, or equivalent, for a degree
- 4 or 5 GCSEs at grades 9 to 4 (A* to C), or equivalent, including English and maths
